My son is pooping very hard from 3 months and the most worrying factor for me is about his stomach ache. Our GP took an X-ray and using laxatives. I started giving him fibre rich foods, water but there is no use. Same problems are repeating. Any suggestions or advices are most welcomed.

Soft foods diet. Fruits and veggies. Use a blender, mix applesauce with other fruits and veggies. 2 times a day as a snack for a week.

Miralax mixed with milk

Cod liver oil mixed with juice

Avoid cheese

My daughter is 3 and she had the same problem. Also, a kids cereal with fiber is great as a snack for kids (any time), with or without milk.

Also, I buy the on-the-go applesauce packets. I give them to my daughter sometimes twice a day. Low cal, organic/healthy/no harm, and low in bad sugars..

Ask your dr to be sure you can give your son the cod liver oil, and or the Miralax.

Soak few dry grapes in water at night. Next day morning give him the soaked water. Freshly prepare each night and give for couple of days and check if it helps your child and also drinking/eating apple daily helps in constipation.

I am not a doctor. I am only giving a suggestion. If you mix a teaspoon of epson salt in to about 4-6 oz and have him drink it 1 time a day. I do that for my youngest. It seems to help my little. Also, have you evaluated how much iron is in his diet, potassium, and some dairy such as cheese, can all cause that. I would check with the pediatrician again before trying and of these. I you have cause for concern I would take him back. Tell them he is not getting better, you know something is not right, and you want to find what it is NO MATTER WHAT THEY THINK!
I know as a mom we know our kids better then any doctor. If you feel like something is wrong you take him back and put your foot down!
Poor little!
I hope he feels better.
