My 4 year old, has a bit of dandruff, I would like to know what shampoo is safe? The pharmacist advised me to was her hair with aqueous cream and then rinse with Johnsons shampoo (yellow) her hair is so oily now. Was just wondering if there was a certain shampoo I can use?????

ok i looked up the cream and I do not know why they suggested that at all... it is meant for eczema. Then I read "Aqueous cream: may cause skin irritation, particularly in children, possibly due to sodium lauryl sulfate content"

When my baby had cradle cap the doctor told me to use head and shoulders dandruff shampoo. It worked for that and as long as it doesn't get in their eyes I would assume it would be safe since my doctor suggested it.

Beyond that I know neutrogena makes a really good shampoo for it called t-gel. It does use coal tar so i'm not sure if it's safe to use for children.

You probably want to call your doctor and see if they can suggest a shampoo for it.
