My 3 year old is complaining of teeth pain and won't eat solid food. The dentist said his teeth look fine. I'm curious whether your child's pain went away on its own, and/or whether you were able to identify the problem. thanks!

Have you taken him/her to a dentist yet? This is around the time they should go for the first time. Maybe you're not brushing as well as you think you are.

Yes if you feel you are brushing the teeth well and child is still complaining about the teeth hurting might be good to take to dentist but my three year old said the same thing usually around time of eating and when I told the dentist didn't know what to really say. My son's teeth are perfect no cavities or decay. The dentist said it could be where other teeth are coming in and pushing against the ones that are in. But I would suggest to take the child to the dentist to see if something is going on should get taken care of asap.

If she has not visited the dentist yet, then do so soon! However, some children actually have what appears to be teeth and when brushing them it happens to be painful because you're brushing the actual root of the tooth as the enamel has never developed over it.
