My bed is like musical chairs, except with children

So I've been on and off co-sleeping with my 6month old. There are nights when he does really well and only wakes once or twice to feed. Then there are other nights when he wakes up every hour and I take him to bed with me just to get a couple hours of uninterrupted sleep. My 3 and 5 year old have begun crawling into bed with me as well, normally when I'm without the baby. I don't really mind, I actually love getting to cuddle to sleep with them, they're my babies after all. But last night my 3yr old came in while I had the baby and, being too tired to understand, threw a fit because he couldn't lay down with me while I had the baby. I had to wake my husband up to take him to bed. Today I'm realizing I don't know when my bed became the common sleeping area, I'm sure missing a good nights sleep though.

My bed used to be the same way. i have a 10month old girl and 4 year old son. & my son had been sleeping in my since he was a little baby & now at 4 i just now have him sleeping in his own bed. even tho he has had his own bed for awhile now. But what i did to put a stop to that is having a routine with him at night. & getting him to spend as much time during day in his room. I made sure he had everything in his room & was very comfortable. At night we would read a story if needed, have a snack before bed. & i would lay with him in his bed until he fell asleep. & he has never & never wake up in the night. So the only time i ever found him in my bed is when he wakes up in the morning.
