My daughter is always changing her clothes.

Hello I really need some advice about my 2yr. old daughter. She is in the process of being potty trained, which is the easy part. She is constantly wanting to change her clothes. It has gotten so bad that we had to put locks on her closet door. We can't even fold laundry when she is awake because if she see's any of her clothes she has to put them on. I do have four children so the laundry is a headache. She has discovered the locks and now uses her trash can turned upside down to unlock the doors. Any suggestions would be helpful........Thanks

I cannot really offer any advice but I can offer support. My 4 1/2 year old, who was literally 1 when she started wanting to choose her own clothes has the same sort of clothing obsession. In the morning, it takes on average, 30 minutes to get her dressed because she tries on something, then changes it, then changes again and again until finally she is happy with something. All I can say is I hope this is a phase and it probably is. The same goes for your daughter. She will most likely grow out of it and move on to something else. Either that, or she will someday be a world famous fashion designer! :)
