Hi my names Lyndsay. I have a daughter who is 3 in January I am very concerned because she's doesn't like making contact with people gets frustrated over silly things has lack of interest in activities or toys. Obsesses over objects such as an apple (won't eat it just kisses it and holds it to her face) .. Sticks. If she takes a big tantrum outside she screams and crys but if she comes across a stick she stops instantly and picks it up and stares at it (odd behaviour) .. Also when she gets frustrated she straightens her back and neck will sometimes flap her hands or tense her hands in a fist and shake with temper! Can someone help me my HV seems to think this is normal behaviour!!

Thank you serena, I have managed to get her into early entrance at a nursery for her to get a bit support, the nursery mislead has also referred her to a paediatrician xxx

Okay this is not normal behavior I come from a very big family and was always left to tend to all the younger children, I'm talking about cousins and I also have siblings and my own children, so this here sounds like possibly slight autism or maybe OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) and should be looked into. Does sound like it's important enough to have professional(s) look into what is going on in your daughters lifestyle.
