My pediatrician told me to put 1/2 tsp. of DARK Karo Syrup in thier bottle or food and it will clear up the constipation quickly. Good luck!

My daughter had constipation issues for a long time too. Her doctor suggested Miralax. It's mild enough for little ones, but it works! Use it every day in the morning, put it in a sippy cup or something. It may take a while to work through. There were times when my daughter wouldn't poop for days while the Miralax built up in her system, then one day she'd have 3 BMs in one day! Then she'd be regular for a week. And as your child gets bigger, you can up the dosage. Now that my daughter is 3 we have her on fiber-gummies. Like Flintstone vitamin gummies, only just for fiber. It helps keep her regular and the stools soft which really helps with potty training!

Also, high animal protein (including dairy like cheese and yogurt) diet works against all that fruit you're giving him. I needed to keep my child on a high-calorie diet just to keep her weight at a healthy level, that's why we needed Miralax. But if you limit the dairy, and increase the fiber with fruits and vegetables (beans are a great source of protein and fiber), your kid will be having regular BMs in no time.

same issue with constipation and my little one. i think she's had more doctors appointments for constipation than well baby check ups. make sure to get the pediatrician involved, sometimes there are underlining reasons for the constipation. we've been told to use the caro syrup, glycerin suppositories, and now she is on miralax.

Miralax is a miracle. It's all natural and works very well. Start with a tablespoon and add it to your child's drink. Use up to twice a day.

My pediatrician told me to use glycerin supositories or a baby fleet enema ask your local pharmacists to help you find either of those items. my daughter had terrible constipation and i actually had to help her get it out with a q-tip and vaseline so i know what you are going thru. good luck friend
