Help my twin boys will be 3 in march and since I put them in a bed last week they won't stay in bed, there's nothing in the room only there bed and a teddy, they are climbing the walls jumping on beds, fighting, crying, I put them to bed at 7.30 and they don't fall asleep till 12 or 1 am, I've tryed sitting in the room and that makes them worse, and they don't nap in the day, there hyper 24/7, I've 3 older children who are cracking up, with lack of sleep and are nackered in the morning getting up for school, I'd be delighted with any help thanks

I agree with Arianna. I had similar situation with my daughter at some point and thats exactly what I did. I counted the first night and it took 156 times of putting her back down. I really think that the only reason she fell asleep at that point was sheer exhaustion from getting up so many times. But second night it was down to 30-ish times and by 4th night she would just lie down and fall asleep.

Sorry for my late reply, thanks very much for all the help :) I now sit in the room with them, the first weeks I lost count of the amound of times I put them back into bed, now a month later, I put them to bed at 7:30 and by 7:40 to 8:00 there sound asleep :) there are still the odd nights when it takes a few times of putting them back into bed without talking or looking at them, but the latest in the last few weeks was 9pm by the time they fell asleep, but there's no way I'd complain about that :) and I've seen a big dif in the twins during the day as well, thanks so much for yer help :)
