My poor baby screams excessively! Hes 2 1/2 and is our 4th child. He's sych a good baby but for the last few months he has been very difficult. He screams in rage!! When his older 3 siblings are at school the house is calm and so is he. We enjoy watching cartoons together or playing with his baby brother. But when his older siblings return from school it seems like he starts to scream so much. He has alot of anger. He wakes up in the middle of the night screaming so loud and frantic that I have to peel myself off the ceiling. There is no calming him down what so ever, you just have to watch him and he will go back to sleep after a couple minutes. Often he will have blood shot eyes, he will chew his food and not swallow it. I have taken him to the E,N and T dr and they said his ears were fine. His pediatrician has no answers for me either. I have not had this problem before. I understand that toddlers have tantrums but this is much more than that. Tonight he screamed in rage so much that we couldnt get him to stop. i tried talking to him calmly, giving him a bath but neither worked. He went to bed screaming and finally fell asleep after screaming for an hour. Something has to be going on. I was wanting to hold him and hug him and he refused and laid on the floor in a fetile position instead. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. I'm stumped on what could be going on. Thank you!

I would ask your dr. to refer you to a pediatric specialist maybe then you can get to the bottom of things. Your GP can only help you so much some times we need to seek out a specialists opinion
