My son is 26 months and is still babbling. He is extremely active in school and at home. His teacher just yesterday met with me and gave me a list offing a regarding where he should be in his age group. He should be speaking more than two words phrases,he should be able to feed himself with a spoon by now. Well this freaked me out. I immediately went to Target and went wild. He feeds himself at home when he wants to with a spoon. And as for the speaking more than two word phrase, at home that's how we talk to him. Should I be worried, cuz I'm freaking out

First of all, don't panic... All children develop at different rates. If he can feed himself with a spoon at home then you are good, there is a difference between ability and desire. As for his speech, is he able to say things like I want ... Or I need...? Is he able to communicate with you beyond pointing and grunting? If so then you are really ok. If you are still concerned you can schedule an appointment with the pediatrician and discuss it.
