Try putting something in his crib that smells like you. My daughter had bad reflux when she was born and slept with me till she got better. she wanted nothing to do with her crib. I got an advice that shes so used to sleeping with me and sleeping in her crib is a new environment. So i laid down my pillow case in her crib and stayed with her till she fell asleep. I had no problems. It got to the point where she cuddled with it because it had my scent so to her i was still nearby. She was 8 months old when i did that.

my son was n my bed and we put a bassinet next to our bed. he would wake up in the middle of the night and i would just rub his belly and go back to sleep. he did that for about a week an started sleeping all night so we moved all his stuff in his room and he never noticed...but he was moved out of his bed when he started walking around 1 year because he climbed out an i got scared so i got him a bigbed with pillows arround it hope this helps :) good luck
