I don't want him to have to stay indoors, but it might be really cold by then. Any party ideas?

If he like yo gabba gabba then yo could always have a 'dance party' where everyone dresses like a monster or other things and dance like on the show. Could do facepainting if your really keen, play pass the parcel, or freeze dance( like freeze tag) have colouring pages and crayons. As long as its fun and they can run around like mad he will love it!

Yay, my son turns 3 on December 13th! :) What's your son interested in? You could do one activity outside for fresh air and then come inside, or just let them run around with a bunch of balls (do 2 per guest for extra excitement, or exercise balls because it's so exciting for toddlers to play with a ball as tall as themselves) You could give a ball to each child to take home as a goodybag if you wanted.

The only caution I have is that with his birthday so close to Christmas, probably everyone is really busy and it would be best to have it be a short party, only 2 hours or so, maybe in the morning so as not to interfere with naps. That way more guests will be able to come, and they'll be happier because they're not using their whole day when they have lots of other things they feel like they should be doing.

He loves yo gabba gabba and the fresh beat band :) Thanks for the idea though, i'm sure balls would work great.
