need help big time ive moved to a new town with my two toddlers to start school leaving behind the family my 3 year old daughter was used to seeing every day

my one year old son has adjusted well but my daughter is still coping with the seperation of it all she is now refusing to potty train but thats the main obvious problem is that this bull headedness is through everything we do her high energy had turned for the worst

waking up a 2 and 6 to crawl in bed with me to cuddle or some night "demand" water

she is super bright but i dont want to continue giving her everythign she want its been 3 months here in our new town and her little brother is mimicking her behavior

It sounds to me like she just needs lots of love and understanding and for you to recognize that she is hurting. Maybe you can go to the store and pick out a few postcards or cards and she can mail her friend a letter. Regardless of moving or not at that age there is lots going on. Transitioning to a new home, a new school and also being the oldest child is tough. Has she made any news friends yet? if not, perhaps you can look to see if there is a local playgroup.

I found that with my son that he just wants mommy to know how he feels. Although, again I think at 3 years old the "drama" could very well be just 3 year old drama and not all of it associated with moving.
