My 16months old daughter get up at 5 o'clock daily in the morning...n cries continuously for 45 min or so until I pet her or rock her... Then she falls sleep again but get up if I put her in crib...she goes to sleep by 8.. Even if I delay her sleep time also.. She wakes up at the same time daily...One of us has to pet her to make her sleep everytime...She goes to day care.. And takes 1hr nap there..she has been a less sleeper always.. We have put curtain on window to block any glimpse of light ! But no use... Please H-E-L-P.......

well 8 to 5 is about 9 hours thats all she might need my baby girl is 11 months and she can sleep from 7 to 630 but some babys dont need as much sleep as others so she might just need to be awake at 5 am i know thats hard i have to do it sometimes but i think right now its a habit u all have gotten in to i would have to say if shes getting 9 hours of sleep then she dont need to be going back to sleep maybe your forcing her to by rocking her and petting her abd she gets bord she just go's back to bed maybe try just waking up feed her breakfast maybe watch tv after 2 hours she might just take a nap thats what i do when my baby wakes up that early and i know thats not what u wanted to hear lol i think thats how it is A MOMMY OF TWO
