get his Immunoglobulins checked (IGG, IGE, IGA) my son had immune defiencincy of infancy. He got sick a lot and frequent. He has outgrown it but have him checked by a Immunologist, usually in the same office as a asthma/allergist. Also get some probiotics , this may help in the long run.

definately talk to your doctor because many factors could be at play, a multivitamin can help, it could be an allergy to something, humidifiers/ vaporizers can help, it could be something like asthma, it could be something more worryisome, or it could be just that if you just started daycare it could be the new environment too. So talk with your doctor they will definately ask all the right questions to make your mind at ease.

Agree! Talk to your Pediatrician.. this stuff should never be taken lightly

I'd also recommend asking your Pediatrician about Probiotics and Immune support. If you formula feed you also may want to try a different blend(there are special immune support blends or diary sensitive). Also coughing could be allergy related(especially in certain seasons). Try to greatly limit dust or pollen exposure and run a humidifier 24-7 to help with breathing. If you have any pets it could be pet related but definitely try the liquid vitamins(available at walmart - Poly-Vi-Sol is one brand I know of) and extra immune support.

My daughter was the same way for her first year in daycare. Her pediatrician said it was normal. Once she hit that year mark and the weather warmed up for sprng she stopped getting sick. She was around 15 months when it got better, but she spent all winter getting sick less than a week after she would get better. I would check with her pediatrician to be safe, but that was my experience.

Can you be more specific? Is it the same issue every time? How long has it been going on? I'm sure there are lots of Mom would try to help or give you ideas but being more detailed would be great.

And definitely talking to your Pediatrician in depth about it would be my first suggestion, they see a lot of children with every issue you could think of.
