My daughter is almost 3 in a few months(July) I've been having problems potty training. I use to be able to get her to go. But now she won't, she won't even stay on the potty. Is this normal or is she forgetting how to go

My advice is similar to the other responses. Rewards can go a long way in encouraging little ones to go on the potty. It's natural for kids to take steps back in the potty training process. Just stick with it and I would recommend keeping her only in underwear and staying home as much as possible so that she has to experience accidents in her underwear (which will hopefully encourage her to want to go on the potty). If she's in diapers or pull ups, she might not be finding it necessary to use the potty. Good luck - potty training is so tough!

She may not be forgetting how to go but I think it might be more of that it's not the "new" thing to do anymore so she has probably just lost interest. Try getting her a potty seat and letting her decorate it with stickers or something and then each time she goes on it, let her get a new sticker for it. Keep encouraging her and try to make it seem like a fun thing to do and don't get upset about accidents just let it be known that she doesn't get rewarded every time she goes potty, she has to do it in the right place

We got our daughter a baby doll with a potty. We put it in the bathroom but in order for baby to go potty she had to try to go too. It resulted in a few extra potty breaks at first but it did the trick for her to have it more on her mind as the excitement of the new toy started to wear off.

If when she was younger and you were congratulating her when she did use the potty maybe she thought ''Maybe I don't need to any more as I'm not being told well done or rewarded'' Try and encourage her with rewards when she does go and with some motherly love and a few congrats she will return to the potty. Hoped this helped :)
