Potty training!

I am beyond frustrated! My 3 1/2 year old daughter was potty trained for well over a month. We had been trying since she's 18 months and finally thought we had gotten through to her and were on the road to success. And then one day, she just woke up and decided she wasn't going to do it anymore. I've tried to be calm and understanding. I get it, set backs happen. But it's getting worse and worse. Every time I tell her she needs to sit on the potty and go pee per or poop she screams bloody murder as if she was walking to her death. I will literally check her and say do u have to use the potty, and she'll say no and walk away and then 30 seconds later she's in closet hiding because she pooped in her underwear. I don't want to go back to pull ups because I think that will make things worse then they already are. But she's starting nursery school in 3 weeks and I can't send her in underwear if she's going to just poop in her pants. But not only has the potty training come to complete hault, her behavior is getting worse. She doesn't listen to anything I say. I am constantly putting her in time outs, constantly repeating myself, and I've gotten to the point where I'm losing my cool and spanking her. I'm a full time nanny and take care of a 12 year old, 9 year old, and 6month old, and I know for a fact that the one on one attention she used to get has been compromised and I see this a factor but I also know I'm not the only parent/nanny who deals with 4 girls at once. I just don't know what to do anymore. I'm at a total loss. I almost want to quit my job to try and give her the attention I know she's crying out for but realistically that's just not an option.

Potty training is hard. I usually make sure my daughter knows its yucky when she has an accident. This tends to bother her and now she really tries a lot harder to make it to the potty. Try taking her to the potty with you, I usually sing the pee pee on the potty song when she goes and she loves that I'm praising her so much. Sometimes I let her call grandma, aunts....anyone and tell them she went and they will make a big deal and it seems to really encourage her.
