Recent Biting at Day Care - HELP

My son is 2.5 years and verbal! He is great about telling you when he is happy, mad, scared, sad, or hurt. He has started biting kids at school but not at church or playgroups. When I ask him why he bites it always because someone pulled his shirt, took a toy from a friend, or felt scared.

We did not have the issue until a new teacher came into the classroom. Now he is saying he wants Mrs. S back and wants to go to a new school.

Since we recently moved I am worried about starting him in a third school. Do I listen to my child who says he is not happy? or the director who says it is just a phase and he will grow out of it?

If you have confidence in the director's experience, I would give it a few more months, and work with her so you can both be approaching the problem the same way. Good luck!
