My son is 2 and figured out how to open doors... Even WITH the child proof safety knob. Are there any suggestions to help with keeping him out of bathrooms, garage... outside!!? Thank you for your input in advance.

Agreed! I rented too! The landlord was much more interested in the safety of my child (and his liability) then about a few screw holes. It won't hurt to ask! Good Luck! :)

Then ask the landlord & explain the reason why. Tell them when you move you'll remove them & patch the holes & even cover with paint if that's the issue. Most landlords won't care...they don't wanna be held liable for something bad happening to your child. If they say no ask them to sign a note stating that fact.

Unforunately, we are renting therefore installing anything that requires screwing anything into walls and doors is a no go. Unless I ask our landlords. Thank you mom's.

I didn't have this problem until child number 3. We had to install hook and eye latches or locks at the 5 ft high mark. With kids as smart as our little ones are, we have to go to extremes. My little guy almost escaped outdoors at 11:30 at night in 28 degree weather! Luckily I heard him, and bought locks the next day (He can climb gates too!) It is worth the effort to install them trust me!
