I got a few movies for my 3 year old the other day and one of them was "paranorman", a childs animated movie in the childrens section with my little pony and care bears. I wasn't fully aware of what this movie was about but the synopsis is a boy that sees ghosts and has to stop the witch before the zombies take over the world or something like that. As soon as seen the dead people and zombies, i turned the movie off but ever since then, my sweet little boy has been demanding to watch "spooky" and runs around acting like the zombies. The other day he was watching simpsons and treehouse of horror came on, once again I turned the tv show off when I came in and saw it, but not before he saw the first half of the episode (i cant catch a break)!! He seems so obsessed with spooky things now and is constantly demanding anything scary we see. Is this normal for children his age?? I am not a fan of horror and neither is my partner but it seems little man cannot get enough if it....

I don't like horror movies either.

I don't let my kids watch them. I think he's too young for it just yet.

When I go to choose movies and my 3.5 year old ask me, can I have this mom, I look at the content and the story line and say yes ok, or no choose something else.

God Bless.
