At what age should my son and daughter stop sharing a room?

This same question was just asked in another community and, as I said there, I think as long as no big deal is made about it, the kids won't make a big deal about it. My daughters have had to share a room with their brothers at various stages and, sometimes, still have to. They don't mind one bit and it has served to bring them closer, make them better friends as well as siblings and definitely taught them the virtues of patience and sharing. Find what works for your kids and, if nothing else, they will let you know if and when they can no longer share a room. Good luck mom!!

straight answer is they will let you know themselves. it is advised that children under the age of 5 can share a room but after that different sexes need their own room but i have a son and a daughter 22 months age gap and they had their own rooms but only slept in one room untill my son was 11 and decided he wanted his own space (he's the eldest). i tried to keep them in their own beds but by morning they were in each others beds or on each others floors. i just used to check on my wy to bed where they were incase of emergency ha ha
