My son is 14 months old and still doesn't sleep through the night. We have a bedtime routine and he usually goes to sleep around 8 pm or 8 30pm and he wakes up around 130am and doesn't go back to sleep until 4am.Im a single mother and it's really wearing me down. ANY ADVICE? Is sleeplessness typical of a child with CF?

Thank you for your advice. I've tried putting him in the bed with me and he always wakes up and wants to play and jump up and down on the pillows. He has cystic fibrosis and I think his medicines are keeping him up. I spoke to the doctors about it and they really have no answer for me. I did try the warm milk and that seemed to help. Last night after he fell asleep in my lap in the chair I was able to put him in his pack and play and he slept there from: 10 p.m. Till 4 a.m.. At least I was able to lay down in the bed for a while instead of sitting up in the chair with him.It makes for long nights when I have to do that. Thank you again I really appreciate it.

Have you tried pulling him in the bed with you when he wakes up at 1:30? Giving him warm milk? Mine does that too, and sometimes thats the only thing to do, snuggle up and sleep together. I notice she sleeps longer and better.
