My son turned four last month, and he has been potty trained to over a year. He still needs diapers at night or else he wets the bed. I think he is just a very deep sleeper and his body doesn't wake him up when he has to go. I've limited drinks and made him pee before bed but he still pees at night, and I'm talkin A LOT of per. Any similar situations? Advice on getting him out of diapers one and for all is needed!

My daughter is only three but we have the same situation. shes been potty trained for a year and still used diapers at bed time just incase. We ran out of diapers last week and I was like hell we are going cold turkey. We put her down at 7:30pm. I wake her up at 10:30pm and take her pee then my husband wakes her up at 1am and takes her pee. and we haven't had any accidents since we started this. once she learns to hold it better at night or wake up herself we will continue to do this.

Staying dry at night is more physiological than anything else. You could talk to your doctor, but most doctors will tell you to wait it out until a child is six or seven.
