We have a Chicco Keyfit 30 travel system now. Our daughter will be about 3 1/2 yrs, when our new baby arrives in January, and she already weighs about 35lbs. I wanted to get a double stroller with an actual seat for her and a space for carseat to click in. It seems that most of the strollers only go to 40lbs though and it doesn't seem worth it.

Any ideas? i just don't know if I want a sit and stand, it doesn't seem very comfortable. I'd love to know your ideas and opinions.

I love my sit and stand, and so do both of my kids :) It's kind of difficult at times, and can be hard to get around tight corners, but for walks, strolling around stores, etc it's GREAT!

The kids are comfy in it, no complaints about comfort on long trips (up to 4-6 hours straight on rare occasion) and it's been great for storing all the extras.

I definitely recommend a sit and stand stroller :)

(my kids are currently 3.5 and 1.5 now, I've used it since my youngest was born)

Thanks everyone! I think I am going with the Sit and Stand LX so that my daughter can sit in the front or on the small seat. I appreciate all of the comments! Very helpful!

I have a sit and stand and I like it. My daughter just turned 3 and usually walks but having a seat for her when needed is great. When my son was a baby I just used a carrier (Baby Ktan) and my single stroller, but once summer came and my son was over 6 months that wasnt working. We got a sit and stand used and my only complaint is sometimes its hard to steer but definitely a good buy.

Even without doing a lot of walking, it was worth the purchase. Both my kids walk now, almost everywhere. But for the occasions when we DO still use it, it's great.

And even if the older child doesn't use it all that much, it's very convenient for storing stuff that you want to haul around with you instead of carrying it by hand :P

I've taken the big stroller on small shopping trips with only one, and even on a few occasions where I didn't have either of the kids XD

Do you do a lot of walking? My son was 3 1/2 yrs old when my daughter was born. I got a two seater stroller, but only used it for a couple of months. Most of the time he wanted to walk a long side the stroller. If we did walks he enjoyed riding his bike while I pushed the stroller.

I think if I was to get one today I would do the sit and stand. It is much easier getting the 3 yr old in and out.....maybe I would have used mine longer that way.
