Stuttering 3yr old... Just a phase or see a speicalist?

My daughter is 3 and for the past 6 months or so, she has started stuttering. Alot! I can tell she knows what she wants to say but she just can't get the words out. Is this something I should worry about and take her to the doctor/specialist. Or just wait it out knowing it may never get better and possibly struggle with this latterbin life???
She knows how to reword what she was going to say, to get her point across.

I agree with Denikka. My little girl stuttered for a while around the same age. My son is 3yrs old and speaks with a slight lisp which he instantly drops if I pull him up on it.

From what I've read, stuttering between about 2 and 5 is fairly common. Basically, their brain is moving too fast with what they want to say that their mouth can't keep up.
If you're concerned, definitely have her evaluated, but I wouldn't worry about it too much. Most correct themselves by about 5 or so.
