I've seen that video before Jane. I like that one a lot. My little one also wouldn't stop singing it.

Well my little one is only in preschool so it's pretty easy to keep her entertained during the summer but I also want to keep her educated so I found a cute little online Preschool that posts fun little YouTube Videos teaching catchy little songs. My daughter hasn't stopped singing them. You can just type CHALK preschool into youtube but here is the link incase!

It all depends on the age group. I have a soon to be 4 year old and a soon to be 2 year old. My oldest is working on shapes and colors and writing his name. So whatever we do I try to make sure and work on those things. He is particularly excited about going to the zoo this summer. My youngest isn't working on much yet, but he gets a lot out of the activities too. I try and use everyday summer activities and turn them into something they can learn from. A trip to the pool is a great chance to learn about water safety. A children's museum is a great way to beat the heat on a hot day. Good luck!

They have several storytime functions in our area. Check your local library to see when they offer it.
