take advantage of you two time. play makeup when the baby baby is napping. paint finger nails. wait is it a boy. either way little things at home. have him help set the table at dinner time and praise him for being your big boy helper! read a book with them both and let him turn the pages. dialogue is good for both. him to be engaged and the baby to learn from hearing.

Also try looking into any Children's magazines in your area...You can find them at the grocery stores, libraries etc....Are you a stay at home mom...I find alot of things during my free time (I am a stay at home mom)...that I do with my kids...Play dates are really good too...You should be able to find a community in your area on Circle of Moms..(ie. Im in Baltimore, Md and we have one called Baltimore moms - alot of moms are searching for the same things you are looking for and probably had some success)

Look at playgroups or the local library... zoos.. community centers even something like in Australia we have PCYC... even our local Art Gallery has some actvities for kids.. Hope this helps
