Tips on getting toddler to eat/nap with babysitter?

I have a 17 month old. She's never been a brilliant eater or sleeper and usually needs me to lie down with her for naps and bedtime. No rocking etc just my presence.

Recently I've stated working part time and have been using a baby sitter at home till space opens up at the early learning center we picked out. She's been reacting with the usual crying and clinginess you'd expect. I've done te hyping and the having baby sitter introduce fun toys etc and the relationship is progressig slowly. However my big concern is that she won't eat/drink her milk (she's still on the bottle) or take a nap with the sitter. Tried having her give it to her in a sippy cup which I've tried several times to no use just to see if she'd take some in a diff form. No luck.

By the time I return she's exhausted and hungry and generally naps badly and is cranky all day. I know babies are resilient little things but I'm really worried.

Any tips on minimizing the misery?

maybe try making a keychain with a picture of you. try calling him throughout the day when you can. when you leave home make sure you are calm and act like its no big deal even if you are upset. give her a kiss and tell her you'll be back. We don't realize how much of our anxiety we give them.
