I have a 2 year old shes about to be 3....she use to LOVE eating Gerber Jars...then suddenly she refused to eat them....So I figured GREAT this means she will start eating rice, beans, potatoes, meat, chicken etc. (I also have a 3 year old and a 1 year old and they both eat reg house food) To my surprise she refuses to eat foods only the things she "likes"....these things consist of...

white rice (someeeetimes she will want beans) I have tried mixing it and not giving her a white rice only option and she refuses to eat.
MILK
chicken
mac and cheese
Yougurt
french fries
small pieces of meat (sometimes)
Juices
Water
Bananas
Bread

Thats basically it...That is all she eats! She goes to daycare and they have asked me to please bring her mac and cheese to school because she REFUSES to eat school food and she goes on and doesnt eat anything the entire day (I thought it was a 1 time bratty thing but it happend twice)

Oh I try to offer her new things to try and she REFUSES to try them! She screams and crys covers her mouth and says NO!

Does anyone have any idea what I can do?

my daughter went through a phase like that when she was 3, she only ate certain foods, it just takes patients, and variety try different foods, she might be a veggie eater try to give her some brocoli you'll be surprised how any kids love brocoli, it turns out the things my daughter enjoys now is veggies rice, very little chicken mac n cheese of course, and fruit except strawberries, she absolutely hates strawberries.. Good luck!!

This is a really tough subject for us Moms, esp if she used to love her food!
All I can say is Persevere in giving her new foods, be Patient with the tantrums and Pray this passes soon:)
