My son will be 2 on the 1st. He has been in a twin sized bed for a few months now and he has done amazing. I recently seen that my cousin's same aged son has been using a pillow for some time now and so I decided to get my LO one as well. He uses it at nap time and seems to be okay with it. I on the other hand am having really bad anxiety about letting him use it all through the night. Fears of me waking and not him. It's getting the best of me. Please help me with some advice or something to calm my nerves. Thanks :)

Dont worry! My son truthfully has had 2 pillows in his bed for several months almost a year and he is 2 1/2. We got him a twin size car bed when he was around 18 -20 months and Ive had those two pillows in there with him since. Hes done perfectly fine. His pillows are usually in the same place it was when he went to bed. He even sometimes uses it for his whole body lol, it must be comfy for him. The onyl thing I have noticed with using a pillow, is him sweating a little more, I suppose having more fabric. He gets hot easy anyway, so we use just cotton sheets to help. But he moves a lot in his sleep and I notice he adjusts the pillow just as I do for comfort.
Just make sure the pillow case isnt excessively loose and the sheets are also tight on the bed, you shouldnt have an issue. I know its scary having them in their own bed and we arn't their to keep a close eye. I lay my son down at 9 and before I go to bed we go check on him again to make sure hes okay lol. We still use the monitor to keep a check on him, our rooms arnt too close so it helps us hear if he gets up at night.
Your anxiety will pass soon, try not to worry, it'll all be okay! Its just a sign they are growing up :(

lol you said it! This age too.. mine is going through "that" phase, he is trying more things, developing more of a personality and much more rambunctious, it is hard but I love it. We just have to keep on em, and teach em right lol
