Hi there, any advice/ encouragement for me???

I have a great 27 month old and a generally fantastic partner HOWEVER, this pregnancy he has had so much going on and is so stressed out it is really affecting me, also I don't feel like he has any room in his life for any of my dramas like my fear of a repeat horrific birth, pnd and the fact that our new baby and my body have had a few issues making it to 36 weeks. I have been in hospital 3 times to stall labour and I'm freaking out about the babies health.

I can't seem to do anything to help him except listen (not that he talks) but he is embroiled in a major family feud which can see us lose our home and livelihood, he works 60 plus hours a week in a thankless job, has bitten off far more than he can chew with renovations and today just found out he needs to be tested for a terminal illness after a routine test came back with some indicators.

I don't need too much from him and I know he has got so much going on but I'm really worried about my own stress levels and how he is going to cope after the baby comes. Eek - normally he is pretty relaxed. please help!

Is your mom around, or other family or close friends that you can pull in to support you? Also, maybe you could look into hiring a doula, if you are worried about a repeat horrific birth. They can help you work through that.

Wow. You need to stop worrying about EVERYTHING! Just take care of your 27 month old and yourself. Don't do anything extra except cook and clean up after. Can someone come to help you? That's a whole lot to deal with. I would try some therapy. Get some of your worries out and maybe they can give you the tools to get through this very tough time.
