Too young?

My daughter is only 18 months and I have seen so many ABC mouse commercials and every time I see them I keep thinking to myself, I would love for my daughter to start that site up soon but is she too young? My daughter is very smart for her age! If I do something it will only take her a few times for her to watch me do something and she does it. I keep thinking that she's smart I think that maybe I should let her try it out. But then again she is only 18 months. Is she too young to start an online learning site like ABC mouse?

I completely agree. Lots of 18 month olds start learning to recognize letters. I wouldn't use the computer though... draw letters in sand, do alphabet puzzles together, read alphabet books, etc. I wouldn't use the computer at all though. It's a pandora's box. Put it off as long as possible.

You can always try her on it and if she doesn't understand it and/or doesn't enjoy it, you can always stop it and try again when she gets older :)
At this age though, I would highly recommend that you focus more on physical, hands on learning than on learning things on the computer or other electronic devices :) Keep the times short, but every once in a while is, of course, fine :)
