My 4 year old keeps getting warts randomly on his fingers. Am I doing something wrong? He washes continuesly throughout the day and yet they keep coming back.

I agree with other posts here...this is a virus that needs to be addressed to prevent the warts from coming back. As well as the treatment described below, I worked on improving my son's overall immune health. My child had a stubborn wart on his finger that was the size of a dime. We tried drug store treatments, and had the doctor take it off once. Then I tried another mom's suggestion...duct tape. You need to use the grey kind. I put a small piece on top of the wart, and then a bandaid on top of that to keep it in place. (It turned an ugly grey/purple colour and got squishy because it was suffocating.) Every 3 or 4 days we took off the duct tape and bandaid, washed with soap, let it dry, and used an emery board to file off the top.
Because of it's size, it took the whole summer to shrink away, but now it's gone!

You cannot treat warts topically, they are viral - taht is why they spread, and that is why they dont go away when treated topically. Find out from your doc, what you can use to clean out their digestive system, etc. to get rid of it.

My daughter use to get warts on her hand as well, the doctor said it was not a big deal an they wouldn't remove it unless it was there for several months. the doctor stated that they generally go away after a few monts and we just had to make sure she was not putting her mouth on the wart as this can cause a wart infestation in the childs throat and/or lungs. The doctor suggested getting over the counter wart band aids, we used them and she had not had a problem in over a year.

Actually, warts are a viral problem - in otherwords - its actually an internal issue that you need to treat accordingly. My friend's daughter had warts on her hands really bad and all the time too - she was like 6 years old. She used my Ultimate Aloe Juice - she loved Kiwi Strawberry the best. Drank that, and within about six months they were entirely gone (every child would be different) She is now 11 or 12 and hasn't had them back since.
Get it checked by the doc.

My 9 year old started out with 1 wart on his finger,took him to the docter,nothing could be done.i had already tried DR.SCHOLLS FREEZE IT OFF,DID'NT WRK.THE WARTS STARTED SPREADING,1 ON HIS LEG,1 ON HIS LEFT HAND THE PINKY FINGER,COUPLE ON HIS RIGHT HAND,NOW THEY SPREAD TO HIS FACE.TOOK HIM TO A DERMATOLOGIST,HE GAVE ME 2 PRESCRIPTIONS,CREAM FOR HIS FACE AN A COMPOUND WHICH WAS VERY EXPENSIVE,$300.00,THE ONE ON HIS LEG IS GONE NOW,BUT THE ONE'S ON HIS FINGERS NO,WELL THE ONE ON HIS LEFT HAND IS GOING AWAY.I HATE THIS,SO DOES MY SON.HE WENT TO HIS DADS AND CAME BACK WITH WARTS!
