I m sorry to bother you but I just have a question for u. My daughter is 2 and started feeding therapy about 3months ago because she couldn't or wouldn't eat adult for and sometimes gagged when she did. She is now eating well but it's hard to tell if her behavior lately is terrible two's or something else. She throws fits when she doesn't get her way and when she is playing outside with other kid she doesn't speak much but plays really well and is very interactive. But when she is with me and her dad and grandma she won't stop talking. The fits I was telling you about can get pretty bad, she will scream and cry and roll around on the floor or go cry in the corner but she won't let anyone touch her. Does any of this sound

Fits in general are normal. 2 year olds can feel overwhelmed and don't always have the vocabulary to tell us why. The best way I have found to avoid the outbreaks is by having a set schedule. this helps to know if they need sleep or maybe to eat. Something that simple can be the reason.

When she does have these fits, how do you react to her? All children react differently and maybe she does not want to be touched because she prefer to just be alone. Think of adults and when things are going on. Some of us sulk alone and others need friends around. If she does want to be alone just tell her when you want a hug i'll be ready to give you one.

I think the not speaking around other kids is something all kids seem to do but some parents just don't notice. Children don't use much language with other children. It's like they just don't need to talk. You will also notice they she doesn't actually play "with" kids as much as she will play alone but next to other kids.

That was really dead on. She doesn't like to be touched when having a fit but everything else you said was both helpful and dead on. Thank you for your advice, I hope u will join my inter circle. So I can ask u anything else that I might have questions about. Again thanks!
