Hi, I am new to the community. I have a question. My 2 and half year old girl used to be very interactive with others but immediately she refuses to interact with other peers. She is very attached with me. Whatever I say she follows but she doesn't listen any one else command not even her dad. She is very active and bright and plays all the pretend activities and knows A to z and can identify shapes and colors. I am going crazy. Do I need to worry? Can anyone advise please?

I think it is definitely a stage. My daughter did the same thing. I couldn't do anything without her having a tantrum that I wasn't around which can be emotionally draining because I wasn't able to do much somedays but it will get better. Just have her come around more people or maybe take her to your local library's story time or even play groups where kids interact. She mayl want to follow thier lead and start to build her independence and it could help her become the social butterfly she can be.

Do not worry, it is a stage kiddos go through. Just be sure and take to places with other others around her own age, where she can have fun and interact.
