You are fat

My daughter just called someone fat. I was chocked and other then say "we don't call people names" I didn't know what else to say. The person told her that what she said hurt her feelings. And my daughter said "you are fat!" Again and kept repeating it.

First of all, how old is your daughter?? Kids will be kids, and sometimes kids will say things that are not nice. We, as parents, need to guide them and teach them. I'm not sure if your daughter was saying it to be hurtful. She could just be speaking her mind, or she could be repeating it over and over because she is getting attention from it.

Sit your daughter down and have a talk with her about nice things to say, and why there are some things we shouldn't say. If it is an attention thing, then maybe praise her when she says nice things.

Good luck!
