Winging off the Bottle

I have a 22 month old daughter who refuses to drink any of her milk out of anything other than a bottle. I have tried since she was 10 months to wing her off but she refuses. She will drink all her water and juice from a sippy cup with no problem. I have tried flavoring her milk and still a no go. She also will only drink warm milk. She has about 24 oz of milk everyday. I have tried sippy cups with straws, some with silcone spouts, all different kind of spouts and she still refuses. Any suggestions on how I can go about this? And how long did your children take until they finally accepted the sippy cup with milk, cold milk. Thanks

I started my daughter using a sippy cup when she was 4 months old, by the time she was 6 months she drank her formula from the sippy at snack time and when she was 10 months she only had the bottle at dinner/bedtime, she was 11 months old when she was only drinking from a sippy. Oh and to answer your other question, I stopped warming my daughters formula when she was 3 months old, the only time she got it warm was when she had cereal, I would warm her bottle and use 4 ounces for her cereal the rest of the 6 ounces was still warm and she would drink it just fine. Warm or cold.

If your daughter uses her sippy for juice and water, you could just "lose" the bottle and offer milk in the sippy instead. Make a game out of it, like tell her that new babies need her old bottles and let her put them in the box to go.
