I have a 14 month old daughter who is pretty sick with the flu and an ear infection at the moment. Almost everytime Stevie get's sick she wont eat much. This time im lucky if she'll eat a tiny meal during the day she's only drinking about 1 bottle of milk she's not dehydrated but her being so sick and not eating has caused her to lose just over a kilo she has never lost weight like this before. Does anyone have any advise?

My son was like that when eh was that age and it would make me crazy. The Dr. said as long as they are getting fluids its ok. He suggested Pedialyte which has a lot of electrolytes in it. Try things like orange juice for the vitamin C, chocolate milk has protein and think of creative things that might entice her.

Good Luck!

usually toddlers will eat more after they get better to make up for what they didn't eat while they were sick. It's common for them to not eat much when sick, especially with an ear infection (it makes chewing and swallowing painful). Once it's over, you may see a huge pig out to make up for it. Try not to worry. My daughter went through this a million times last year and she grew fine.
