I have been breastfeeding my daughter from day one. There was a time when she took to bottles but gave them up completely around the time she started solids. My dilema now is that she flat out refuses to drink anything other then breastmilk. Forget juice forget water and forget trying cow's milk. Any one have any suggestions? We tried chocolate mix in her milk, strawberry mix, tried evey flavor of the rainbow for juice and she absolutely refuses water. And she also will not try drinking out of a big girl cup with no straw. I am going back to work and I am worried about daycare time.

well she is getting what she needs from the breast milk so hopefully pumping is an option for when you go back to work....my daughter refused water as well, and didnt really like juice....we started to water it down, about 1 part juice 2-3 parts water....maybe that will help? my daughter is 2 now and we still water most of her juice down other wise it is just too sweet. if your daughter will use the sippy cups with the straws then i would stick with that....i would think that once she realizes you are not there to breast feed her while she is at day care she will take what she can get from the provider! good luck and hope this helps :)
