My son is 15 months old and doesnt crawl, roll or even walk. He sits up ok but in the last 2 days refuses to be put on the floor to play. Has anyone had trouble with their child not doing the "normal" things at this age???? Im starting to panic about it.

My daughter did not walk until she was 18 months old. All her other friends did as early as 10 months.Talk to your doctor before you panic.

I would bring these concerns up with your pediatrician. If you feel your pediatrician is not giving you a serious answer don't be afraid to ask for a second opinion.
My son was a late walker at 18 months, and a late crawler too, but he was at least making developmental strides in those directions. the lack of developmental strides your child is making would have me concerned as a parent.

my son is nearly 6 months old and is being checked as he has developmental delays he does not move his arms or reach for things and does not seem to look at things i would definitely get him an assessment done

15 months does sound concerning; I would definitely get him checked out. I've yet to come across this with any of my aquaintences, and that is not meant to scare you, he could just be delayed. The not rolling over though is definitely something that concerns me. He may be fine, but your ped should be able to help you out and give you any references you might need for additional aid. I say make an appointment.

don't know where you live but in Michigan we have a group called Early On. there should be something similar I(I hope) where you live . You call them and tell them your concern and they come out to your house or you can go to there offices (play room) and they will watch him play and do testing to see where he is and where he should be. they are very helpful and if he qualifies they will set up appointments to work on thing... Also I do not want to scare you but what does your doctor say? my girlfriends baby had a similar situation and they found out her baby had a hole in her heart and that was causing the delay.. it was not picked up at birth... that was about 17yrs ago so don't panic more... you know your child go with your gut... her own mom that she was living with who is a nurse did not even see it..

some babies miss the crawling stage but if he wont even sit down to play n is being unsual i would get him checked by a doctor he might be coming down with something.
