If it is running in to things, falling, climbing and falling it is energy he needs to loose and he is getting over excited. They are very curious at this age and will be getting into and doing things they don't need to be. He is old enough to where when he does something and you tell him NO explain why so he just doesn't here no. "No, this is bad you can get hurt!"

But seriously I know it is hard, relax and take a deep breath...Our kids are smart and if he is picking up in that it scares you or he gets more attention from it then he will continue to do it. Alex LOVES to dress up like a princess and she runs through the house, when she runs in the kitchen she ALWAYS falls and gets hurt. Now (and you might think I am a bad mom for this) I laugh and say good Job Alex are you okay. She doesn't cry get gets right up tells me yeah and goes on playing

OK,Have you ever heard of Early Intervention ...MY SONS ARE IN IT! It's wonderful,it sounds like your son has a lot of energy and no way to release it! So he is doing crazy things and getting hurt! You should call them or ask his doctor....mine son is the same. But with there help and the groups...he is much calmer now and talking much more! I hope you take what i said and use it! They really helped us!

I hope everything works out for you and your son!

first off just take a DEEP BREATH And relax. My 2 1/2 yr old is the same way. I would have to take her to the Er at least twice a wk she has had minor concussions, busted lips... She fell out of a walmart cart 6 months ago, landed on her head and still has a knot from it! If you don't mind me asking what is going on now? What seems to be his biggest problem?
