Welcome to the world of perfectly imperfect children who don't sleep through the night. I have a 3,6 and 8 year old boy who still don't sleep through the night. The only thing I can hope for is that when they get married they won't need me to sleep with them and there wife. Oy vey. Seriously, I know it is tough and bar locking them in there rooms not much else you can do other than embrace it. Think how wonderful it is that they still need and want there mommy. Soon they will be big and not be that interested in you. A state of exhaustion is simply the staus quo. The only thing you can try is put an alarm clock in the room set it for 7a.m. and tell them they can't come out until the alarm rings. At least yours sleep until 5a.m. enjoy it. Think of those who are up all night. Some nights I sleep in everyones bed. Things will get better just give it time. Check out my new blog: http://momintrenches.blogspot.com/2010/1...
