Aveno baby lotion works great. I use it twice a day on my 2 year old. She now has baby soft skin. Unlike the alligator skin she use to have. I also use the aveno baby creamy wash. It has really helped.

I have something for all of you that works. My girlfriend uses it on her 4 year old boy. His arms and legs looked like he did drugs, so dry and chapped and pealing. It was awful. She used this lotion called Renew!! It was amazing the results she saw in just 24 hours. I had been using Renew for a year or so on my dry skin in the summer and suggested she try it. She now uses this and the relief her son has is priceless. I love this product so much I have partnered with the company to tell others about it. I do not sell it, but I can tell you how to get it. Send me an email at littlebrunette9@yahoo.com and I will give you more information. I promise this will help!!

Don't have any quick fixes, but we found that when we finally figured out that my son was allergic/sensitive to soy and food coloring, his horrible, cracked and bleeding eczema patches went away. Have you tried eliminating any foods or keeping a food diary to see when it flares up? I know eczema isn't always food-allergy related, but it was a huge difference in our lives when we figured that out for my little guy. Good luck!

I have heard that dandruff shampoo works well. Check with the doc to see if you can use it on children. I wouldn't use fragranced soaps at all, it could irritate it. Good luck, poor little guy.
