My daughter refuse to eat normal food because she still doesn't chew. She prefers pureed food, i am very frustrated at this point. I saw the doctor but that didn't help much. Help!

Keep pushing for help. You may want to check with a speech therapist. Sometimes there are issues with mouth structure or muscles that affect chewing and also affect speech. A speech therapist might be able to direct you better to which doc. to see or what to do to help get her to chew better. If her speech is behind they will also help and work on this. Keep pushing though. I have fouind that many people docs and others push things aside and don't pay attention to concerns until there is a BIG problem and harder to solve.

Sarah, you are right about that. I am actually concerned now, I made an appointment with my doctor and i plan to express my concern once again. This time i am not leaving without a referral to an Nutritionist or a speech therapist. And Jen, i will try that technique and see if that will make a difference. I am willing to do anything at this point because I am fed up with the pureeing, i just want my child to eat normal.

Thank you both so much for your response.
