Do you allow your toddler (2-3 yr old) to be on the computer already? I am a teacher and know the benefits of starting early literacy and there are website that I could go to with her.............but I feel like this should also be limited too like TV..........so any ideas, recommendations for good websites for this age????? Thoughts, feelings, suggestions welcome!!

My three year old has been on the computer for quite a while. We only go to pbskids.org and she plays the Elmo games or watches the little videos. She can get on now by herself. She only is on every few days when we have exhausted our other things to do. She enjoys it!

My 16 month old and i go to www.pbskids.org and play with her favorite characters for about 15 mins (that's how long her attention lasts)

when my son was 2 years old he was actually logging onto the computer and able to navigate to the sites he wanted to play on by himself...(I save them on a Favorites list) as well as navigate the site itself by himself. I did set up an amount of time he could play on the computer even although most of what he was playing was educational....NickJr.com..Noggin.com are a few that are good.

Yes, I have both my 2 and 3 year old on the computer. My 3yo was able to manage on her own even before her 3rd birthday. They like pbskids.com, nickjr.com, some educational sites include starfall.com and also literactive.com.

I allow my son to use the computer. He is 2yr and 4mths now. As a matter of fact, he gets around it most of the times, he cannot navigate his way as yet. He knows the mouse is to move on the mouse pad and the keyboard is for typing. I do have educational games and programmes on it so i sit and play with him most times. He really enjoys doing so
