3 year old is acting out

Mom's I need help and advise please!

We have a 3 year old that has always been a very good child. In Dec we brought home a baby brother. Number 1 son was great! helped mommy, got things for baby, loved and showed love toward baby. Then we turned 3; then came the ear infection and cold. Now he is a total terror! We use the star reward system which was working wonders and now he uses it to slap me in the face. I give him a nice sized breakfast. At least a cup of cereal, 1/2 cup milk (he's 3) and he seems to be good with that, sometimes I will give him a slice of bread as well. Within an hour he is now finding anything to put in his mouth. Food or otherwise. He has never done this, Throwing things, putting things in the fish tank, screaming, throwing his head into walls. I understand being 3 but I think this could be extream.

Understand please, when he does something good I praise, but what can I do to change the terror in him? He is a perfect angel in the evening after he has fallen asleep for a couple hours, but it takes forever to get him to sleep?

Any idea's?? I really miss my 'sweet pea' and want him back.

He might just be acting out to get more attention. I would say try giving him some alond time with just you and see how that works. Also alone time with daddy. Just a little time set aside each day for him. See if that helps.
