I was jsut wondering if anyone has any games or activities to share! I feel like my son watches way too much tv! On days that i get us out of the house so that he can play and burn energy i feel like i'm more tired at the end of the day from it than he is! he is almost two years old and my saughter almost 6 mths.

what l find is helpful is hands on activities.Get the playdough out, make something together, make it exciting .Also drawing, pasting, looking at pictures together.I sometimes go out the front and collect gum leaves with my 2yr old and paste them on some paper and then hang it up.usually my daughter might watch playschool or something else thats it she isnt really that interested in the tv to be honest.she would rather do activities with her hands, she likes to learn and l make it fun for her. When she does a painting or a drawing l make a big deal out of it so then she wants to do more...there is so many things to do with toddlers you just have to use your imagination.Good luck with it...

Afternoons are tough. I tell my son (he's 3.5 now), the TV is "broken" and so he plays with his toys. I also bought him a Radio Flyer tri-cycle that has a handle out the back so the parent can steer until he's big enough to do it on his own. We'll take walks and I pull my daughter in a wagon and get my own work out.
