oh and smoothies! kids love smoothies!!! You can even sneak veggies in if you do one veg with 2 or 3 fruits.

also cut things in fun shapes - you can use cookie cutters.

make designs or cute things out of them...celery with peanut butter and raisins (ants on a log), sweet potato with olive eyes, green pepper smiley mouth. mix cooked veggies in with things he/she already likes.

Lol, yeah that is my daughter's reaction to everything new now. So have to do that with her, but once she eats it she has been sucking the ranch or sauce off of the intended new vegetable or fruit.

Cool, that sounds perfect. She will still eat but loves her milk or juice this will be perfect. Thank you.

My son mimics everything my husband does. so my hubby just makes this HUGE deal out of getting to eat new foods and so our son follows suit. Like carrots, my hubby brought a bowl of them with some dip to the table with our son and offered him one, our son said no. so my husband went, "alright more for me" and took a bite of one and did the mmmmmmmmm, thing and very over dramatically acted like he LOVED them, our son was ALL OVER THEM. Mind you my hubby is not the veggie kind of person and really doesn't like the taste of most. It helps tho.
