Don't panic, this is very normal. She is actually still quite young to be weaning off a bottle AT NIGHT. My daughter is 3.5 and still using a bottle for milk only before she goes to bed. They will grow out if it. It is very soothing to them, and i think as long as she is sleeping well then just let nature take its course.

cut of the top of the nipples and tell them that big kids use these super cool cups...tell them that the nipples are broken and ask them what they should do with the broken piece, trash it of course..keep one nipple in reserve (just in case but, don't use it without giving it a good fight). just don't give in. if they don't take the cup that night, try the next night.. sooner or later, your kids will take the cup instead of the bottle. this also goes for pacifiers.

No ideas, except to say that we're going through the same thing. She just moved into her big girl bed and loves that, so I'm trying not to worry too much about that one bottle. She'll give it up soon, but right now it comforts her. Also, all the sticker charts in the world haven't succeeded in motivating her, so that idea is out! ;)

we've been working with a reward system of stars on post-it notes!  It seems to work alright - this is from a sippy to a cup with no lid though....  What about going from bottle to a sippy?  We went from bottle to sippy without much transition, I still cuddled her on the couch as if it was a bottle.
