My 3 year old twin girls seem to be in a habit of sucking their fingers and it appears to be habit. Telling them (no easter eggs worked lol for a little while but now after easter of course back to suking). I fear they are damaging their teeth. Tried stop and grow but they appeared to like it. Anyway got rid of this problem or can you assit. Thanks in advance.

We're using Thum and my DD hates it. It's for nail biters and it tastes awful. We also tried Tabasco, but I think she got used to it.

Thanks and I will have to try it. I'm sick of them thinking I'm always cross lol. Better to act than talk. Thanks heaps Gabrielle. I'm going to look out for it. Any thing to stop their teeth getting ruined is worth it.

Thum is like a nasty-tasting nail polish. You paint it on the nail so when the kid puts their thumb in their mouth, it's disgusting. It seems to be helping us - my daughter hates the way it tastes, so sometimes all I have to do is show her the bottle, and she pulls her thumb out quick!
